Today we honor patriots who earned the title of American Veteran.
Who has fabricated and defended the promise of freedom and equality hope with their selfless sacrifice.
We owe them a debt that can never be repaid.
We are proud to see your children go through the pain of a long deployment away from home.
We know very well what it is like to pray every day for the safe return of your loved one.
We pledge that we will continue to work to return our prisoners of war and those missing in action.
I firmly believe that our one true responsibility is to properly prepare those brave women and men.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is working around 24 hours aged suicides and the homeless.
