Brandin Cook is not expected to play against the Eagles on Thursday night
The injury report listed the cooks as suspicious of not related to a wrist injury.
Many had assumed that Texans could part with the cooks by November 1.
If Cook were traded this time, it would be the fourth time that he would have broken an NFL record.
But next season $18 million is owed to Cook, a number the teams were expected to balk at.
Tom Pelicero previously said that Cook was not around the team facilities this week, which was being dealt with.
According to Pelicero, "Cook remained a Texan after the deadline, despite receiving trade calls until the last hour from teams including the Rams and Cowboys
Although the cooks leads 32 receptions in seven games, it will not be included in that total on Thursday night.
