Darrell Brooks gets life sentence for Christmas parade attack

Sentenced to life in prison for driving his SUV into a crowd of Christmas parade attendees in Waukesha last year, killing and injuring.

Darrell Brooks'car killed 6 people that day, while dozens were injured.

Brooks was found guilty by a jury last month on nearly 76 counts.

These included six counts of first-degree intentional homicide by use of a dangerous weapon.

Judge Jennifer Dorough imposes mandatory sentence based on victim statements.

Brooks ordered to serve life sentence for manslaughter or sentence to run consecutively.

Judge Doro also sentenced hundreds of years for a total of 70 cases.

Dorough said, "Frankly, Mr. Brooks, no one is safe from you. You have absolutely no remorse for anything you do."
